Melon Seed Oil

AYEYA Melon Seed Oil is cold-pressed from seeds of the Egusi Watermelon grown under organic conditions by women farmers in West Africa. It is filtered but not refined, so the light, golden yellow oil retains its full phytochemical profile.

Additional information

Use in Cosmetics

"AYEYA Melon Seed Oil is used as an emollient and a carrier in oil blends, emulsions, and balms. It absorbs quickly and
helps retain skin elasticity."

What is Fair Trade?
All too often farmers and producers in economically disadvantaged countries are exploited and paid absurdly low wages. Fair trade certification means they receive a greater percentage of the price paid by consumers. For example, Ayéya pays 15-25% above market price for shea nuts. Cooperative members also receive a salary more than 3x the average family income in Togo.
